κάποιος που σ᾽αγαπά

The apple is me,
someone who loves you has sent me.
Say yes, Xanthippe,

Brief info about the poet and the poem:
Plato: The famous philosopher was born in Athens in 427 BC and died in 348 BC. After his return from Italy, he founded the “Academy” school in Athens. He was also a pupil of Socrates. His poem, included in the “Melos Erotiko”, is preserved in the Palatine Greek Anthology of the Byzantine Kephalas Konstantinos.
